How to find the gallery

at the Ferrers Centre for Arts & Crafts

The Ferrers Gallery is positioned within the estate of Staunton Harold in North West Leicestershire, close to the town of Ashby de la Zouch and less than 40 minutes from Leicester, Derby, Birmingham and Nottingham; 15 minutes from the M1 junction 21 and 5 minutes from junction 13 of the M42.

 

Clearly signposted from the B587 between Melbourne and Lount follow the brown tourism signs that feature an anvil. On entering the Staunton Harold Estate please park in the Estate Car Park adjacent to the onsite garden centre. Parking charges apply weekends and Bank Holidays only - free all other times.

 

Take the short footpath in the corner of the car park signposted ‘Ferrers Centre’ which will take you the archway entrance to the Ferrers Centre, the Ferrers Gallery is on the right opposite the Staunton Stables tea room and next to the Breadfirst bakery and deli.

 

Please note that there are 2 disabled bays opposite the entrance to the Ferrers Centre which can be accessed by following the Ferrers Centre deliveries sign.

 

If using a Sat Nav please note that most systems do not recognise the Staunton Harold Estate’s private roads. Please look out for brown tourism signs as you near your destination. An alternative postcode LE65 1RW may get you closer!
