Multi Award Winning Gallery
Ferrers Gallery is a multi award winning gallery promoting British contemporary craft. The gallery is independently owned by Rachael Chambers and set in the picturesque rural setting of Staunton Harold near Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.
The Ferrers Gallery is located in a grade two listed building and is home to three floors of BRITISH Contemporary Craftsmanship; jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, paintings and sculpture.
The upper two floors of the Ferrers Gallery have exhibitions running throughout the year; the middle floor is our Craft Floor which hosts an ever-changing selection of British contemporary craft and applied arts, while our top floor hosts a series of wall based exhibitions focussing on regional artists. On the ground floor we highlight British jewellers and it's also where you will find a fantastic selection of unusual cards and gifts.

Entry to the gallery and all exhibitions is free.
The Ferrers Gallery is part of the Ferrers Centre for Arts and Crafts, where you will find a number of craft workshops, a bakery/deli and a tea room. Whilst visiting the Ferrers Gallery why not take time to venture into the neighbouring workshops and studios before enjoying bite to eat at the tea room or deli. You may wish to take a gentle stroll down by the lake to take a look at the picture postcard view of Staunton Harold Hall. The Hall is privately owned but there are permitted pathways to the lake where you can feed the ducks or visit the National Trust church of Staunton Harold, which is open on selected days during the summer. If the church is open when you visit do take time to enjoy its stunning frescoed ceilings.
There are also pathways that lead from the area into the National Forest woodlands, to the National Trust property of Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold Reservoir both of which are located less than 2 miles away.

Ferrers Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 11am - 5pm. We are usually closed Christmas Day to New Year’s Day.
Please note that due to our rural location there may be times when the gallery is closed due to snow. We aim to update the website and our social networking sites if this happens so you are fully informed.
